pretty damn great so far, one minor gripe is making things a little more noticeable with the "glimmer", i wont give it away for others but a key item towards the end took me like 15 mins to notice lol. definitely love where this is going though!
Hey, umm so I need help downloading this game, because whenever I try to do it shows a question mark and when I click install it just, doesn't download at all, so if there is another way to download it please tell me, I really wanna do this for a video! Thank you! :D
Gorgeous looking game and I love the way the suspense built up. I had a few frustrating moments but Im sure that can be taken care with a player experience pass. Looking forward to the next part - cheers!
thank you so much we would be so happy if you would support us on patreon cause we really wanna make a full steam game out of it and there is many expensive virtual shit we need to buy to finish this game. Should be like 1 hour ore more playtime🙏🏻
Oh what fun is it to ride a dirty subway train in the middle of the night going nowhere! I really liked the graphics and atmosphere. One big thing that felt like it detracted the suspense and horror was not knowing what to do. It was really hard to find the next item to progress. A simple glow or outline would make this experience much more satisfying. Overall its a great short demo and I am looking forward to future games from you!

I think I'll really like this when we get the full release and see how this connects to everything. I had trouble finding the button and key but I liked the sound design from the music to the object noises.

Played this on an episode of Fright and it was the scariest out of the three games I played. Asian horror is the SCARIEST horror out there. Skip to 10:11 .
This game was amazing. The setting, the graphic, the scares, the ambience just went together so well. So the graphics I thought was great and it is set apart from so many other indie games because it looks so good and had it's own feel and made tis game special in its own way. It had this brightness, yet a grittiness and dark tone throughout the game, and even in the time when the lights in the train were on, it looked great. It gave this air of creepiness and uneasiness.
The other thing I thought was great was the attention to detail. The work that you put into the ads, the newspaper, the bottles and graffiti in the train were a great touch. It made the game that much more realistic and felt more like the player was in there itself. The one addition that was amazing was the bloody foot prints on the ceiling . It was a great small thing to add to the environment and even though it was small, it added a lot to the whole lot to the game.
Another thing that was great was the scares and spooks throughout the game. I thought they were fantastic. The subtle spooks like the one where the baby carriage goes through the width of the train and also the place where the girl and the carriage are standing outside the train while the door was open was really, really well done and spooked me a lot. The other spook that was also good was seeing the girl through the window ; it was a creepy spook that you guys did and thought it was well done as well.
Now that being said, there are things that I would suggest and thought that the game was lacking. One issue that I found (that smoothed out towards the end) was that the game lagged when you moved the player camera around, but it was fine when the camera was still and the player was moving around. As said , it did get smoothed out towards the end, but thought you guys might wantto know that it was a tad bit laggy at the start of the game. Another thing was that if the player looked straight up, it showed the forehead of the character. I personally found this really funny but that's not how eyes usually work and thought you might want to know that as well.
Now the main issue with the game I think was that the player would not know what to do. I don't know if this was an issue to every payer out there, but I didn't know what to do and where to go. I just wandered around back and forth from each end of the train till something happened. I don't know if I missed something or did something wrong, but this slowed down the pace of the game a lot and kind of was boring while I was figuring out what to do (I cut half my video out because it was just me wandering around not knowing or figuring out where to go or what to do next.)
Again, I don't know if this is an issue to other players. But if the game was more straightforward or things triggered faster it would engross the player more into the game and make things less confusing. My suggestion would be to maybe add a scare or a line where the character says something like, "The door doesn't work, maybe I should go back" might let the player know to go back to the other side and do something there. And also maybe adding a small scare when you go back towards another door or stay in a place too long would keep the spookiness of the game up and also keep the interest of the player still in the game (if this point makes sense?)
One thing I found a little strange and a little difficult was that you needed to find a box cutter when the player couldn't see it or know where to go to find it. Maybe adding a voice line or make it more obvious would help.
And as I mentioned above, I loved the attention to detail in this game. Like the bloody foot prints; it was a great touch. And one suggestion to improve the game and take it from great to greater would be to maybe change the ads around the train to make it more spooky as the player progresses through the game. Like maybe making the girl and the carriage replace the lady in the ad poster near the entrance/ exits of the carriage might add a level of spookiness and give a layer of creepiness. You could replace or make the moving neon message glitch out and say scary things. (Oh and also the writing on the wall about her being there was a great touch too, I forgot to mention it above.) So yeah, making the ads more creepy or demonic would make the game a lot spookier and add a depth of creepiness and scariness.
Another thing I would suggest is putting a backstory to the game. That would make it more interesting to as well as give the player a reason to look around and take their time with the game. For example, you could add multiple newspapers or the newspaper to change the story each time the carriage goes dark and lights up again. Knowing why the ghost is there and why she has a carriage with her and why she si haunting the train would make it really interesting and engrossing to the game.
You could also add backstory through the posters and ads around the train. Maybe make the ghost say something in bloody handwriting, or maybe add small texts of broken backstory throughout the ads which the player has to put together at the end and understand it. It would make the game that much more whole and also give the player a satisfactory feeling towards the end and also make the a lot more in depth.
Other than that, I think you've done a great job with the game. It was honestly really fun to play and experience. The scares at the end were great too but a little unexplained (such as why were there chains when the ghost doesn't really use chains previously, and also why did the ghost use fire though she didn't have any affiliation to flames before (Though the fire part was REALLY cool and loved it a lot.))
Oh and the end outro to the game was really funny. Loved the little extra touch you put i there.!
But yeah, good job so far! It was an amazing experience and loved playing it. You've done a great job so far and cannot wait for more of the game! Sorry for the super long comment/ review, I do not mean any bad things if anything came across that way, And sorry if it seems a little convoluted, I'm writing this as I'm editing and rendering the viedo. I genuinely liked the game and just thought it could be improved slightly here and there.
Great job on the game and good luck for future projects and updates!! Hope you all are well and taking care!
Developer: thank you so much we would be so happy if you would support us on patreon cause we really wanna make a full steam game out of it and there is many expensive virtual shit we need to buy to finish this game. Should be like 1 hour ore more playtime🙏🏻
Loved that some thought was put into all the scares. They were paced right and not just thrown at us randomly. Also loved how detailed the environment looks. Really enjoyed it overall. Best of luck for the future of this project!
Pros and cons are down below) Check out my vid (the game is the 3d one there):
Advantages:
1. Very spooky! The scares got me. The ones at the end were especially powerful!
2. I loved the pacing! You could never know when and what to expect. I just wish the footsteps on the ceiling would be more important and would lead to something.
3. It's so cool that the player can see glimpses of plot in this game - makes you wonder what has happened. I can't wait to see the full game!
Disadvantages:
1. I found a bug - in the area with the girl and fire, you can find a safe spot between the doors, I guess one of the doors didn't close. Looked awkward af (you can see that in the vid).
2. Would be cool to see different endings - for example it would be nice to have an option to jump out of the open doors (and see the epilogue, for example).
3. It's strange that you have to find an item in the train. Before you had to spend some time in an area to progress, so you expected that. It takes a lot of time to understand that you need to interact with everything. Moreover, it's hard to notice the item (I never saw where it was). Maybe it would be nice to make it more obvious?
Overall:
The game is fantastic! Can't wait to see more of it. The only thing that bothers me is that the game could turn out to be similar to the other train horror games like "the train" (https://www.indiedb.com/games/the-train/downloads/the-train), for example. As is - 5/5.
This is extremely well made. The atmosphere, the sounds, the subtle environment. I really hope the full game for this gets released because I can't wait to see a full game of this, extremely well made.
This game is so nicely put together graphically and the scares were so well placed! My only nitpick is that it was frustrating to find the item or button to proceed on multiple occasions. If you could make it a little clearer on what the next objective for the player was you'd have a home run on your hands here. Can't wait to see what you guys put out next!
This was a pretty good horror game. It spooked me pretty good quite a few times and I enjoyed playing it. There were a few things that I thought could be improved though. I had frame drops in a few spots, so I would like further optimization or options for graphical settings. I also had some trouble finding the triggers for continuing on in the game at times, so it would be nice to have those reworked. Overall, I really liked the game, and hope to see other projects from your group!
I got stuck a couple of times, but Train 113 definitely has some spooky potential. I especially enjoyed the atmosphere you provided through both the environment and audio. Both very important for a good spook. Though, maybe give the chains a sedative. They were going crazy.
I had fun this with this short teaser! If you like aspects of Japanese horror and Silent Hills PT, you'll like this. I edited in some music cues to make my gameplay a little more interesting. Check it out, everyone; I appreciate the support! I have a couple suggestions for the developers for improvement:
1. Add in dialogue in the form of text of what the character is thinking to make it more clear for the player on what to do next. I'm slow, so I didn't know I had to cut the barricade blocking the door. Something like, "Hmm, I need to find something to cut these ropes," would've been helpful. Another one would be, "I need to find a way to turn the lights back on."
2. I think adding music cues and risers would've been effective for some of the animations that didn't have them, like the cart with the dead girl on it that you see from the open train car as the train passed by. If you watch my video, I added a simple music cue that makes that part creepier.
I hope the developers start this project. This would be interesting to play.
Freaking loved this demo. I am amazed at all the detail. and I loved the little funny bit at the end. Can't wait to see this game become a fulfilled dream.
This game was honestly REALLY scary! Also the graphics.. HOLY! Really good work my man! And I hope you continue with the project and finish it at some point, because this is honestly REALLY GOOD! You can watch my video on it here (:

Captured the feel of a horror movie extremely well. A bit confused about what happened in the dark area, but it all worked out.
lotsa fun to be had in this wee game
